Welcome
The Bay Area 100 powered by Mount to Coast is a 100-mile ultramarathon through the East Bay Regional Parks, starting at Cal Memorial Stadium in Berkeley and finishing on the track at Skyline High School in Oakland — home of the Skyline High Track team, whom we proudly support.
Traversing Bay View, Las Trampas, Lake Chabot, and Redwood territories, the course covers more than 18,000 feet of vertical gain — from redwood forests and lake shores to exposed ridges with sweeping coastal views. It is a world-class test of grit and spirit, set in one of the world’s great regions for endurance sport.
The San Francisco Bay Area is one of the birthplaces of ultrarunning and endurance athletics — a region that has launched iconic races, legendary athletic careers, and some of the sport’s most influential brands. The Bay Area 100 aims to carry that tradition forward.
The Bay Area 100 is produced by Scena Performance and is part of the UTMB World Series index. It is also a qualifying race for the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run.
