Accommodations

Pre-Race

If you’re coming from outside of the Bay Area, there are a number of places to stay near Lake Chabot. Please use this link to see the closest hotels to the starting point. There is also camping in Anthony Chabot Regional Park. Book camping ASAP.

During the Race

You won’t be camping. You’re running. However, we will have a group camp at Bort Meadow. This will be a great place for your crew to give you support overnight. We will have signups for space in Bort Meadow in early April.

Crew and Spectators

You are welcome to have friends and family support you during your run. Because of parking constraints, your crew can only access certain aid stations. Check the Aid Station table for crew access locations.

Key timing restrictions:

We ask that you confine your support to the areas around the designated crew aid stations. You can have all kinds of help— from a chair to shade to special food to foot massage. All we ask is you be considerate of other runners and don’t allow your crew to block access to an aid station or limit how other runners get aid. Common sense.

As for spectators, this race runs in public parks. Your friends can see you during the race on course to cheer you on. This is fine! However, you can only receive support from crew at the locations designated in this guide.

And of course, everyone is welcome at the finish line! You can have as many people as you like at the finish to welcome you in.

The more the merrier.
